Hey Paul,
I'm hoping to regain our former glory days, as you say FB has it's uses as a general chat tool and quick sharing it's great but for anything with longevity you can forget it. It's impossible to find stuff and your hard work is often gone in an instant. Its worse for popular pages and groups as everyone wants to post and stuff just gets lost.
As a new member, welcome aboard mate.

This is pretty much why I started my Hokonui Hobby Room page, so I can upload all my own stuff and keep it in one place. But obviously not a community just a personal blog space more than anything 

I'm going to be building some interoperability into the forums and Social Media (at least that's what I'm hoping to do), so that you can post something here and then share it to Facebook etc or vice versa.

I started in 2018 with a tamiya motorbike kit my wife got me and it's exploded from there haha.
Went from a couple of pots of paint and tub of revell glue to an entire room filled with modelling supplies
Prior to that I did build some as a kid but never in a serious way with airbrush etc. just dining table builds done pretty basic.
