Hi All
Just a short intro. My name is Andrew and I appear on most forums under my alias of Zone 5 Aviation since I started both a YouTube channel and Facebook page of the same name. Most content I will probably post here will likely appear on either of those platforms so feel free to check them out.
I've been scale modelling for many years since my junior school days when my father built my first model for me then I later got my hands on his Monogram 1/72 B-52. Needless to say he wasn't too happy about it!! I stuck with the hobby off and on through high school then discovered other things and gave up in the early 2000s during college and picked it up again around 08/09 then made the move to NZ where I began to really explore the hobby by joining my first club and going on to be the secretary for said club. I'm sure there's a few on here already that may know of me or at least know the name from various shows I've attended with the club. After a period of personal issues, I left the club and began to explore the hobby without the pressures of club events and shows and focusing more on paint techniques. You won't find me winning competitions or writing magazine articles but now I just like being me and if people like my work that's cool, and if not, that's cool too.
