Cool references there :)

You know you have to build one of those frames on the quad now ;)

A new item may get added today, picked it up for $10 at toyco with a 50% off coupon...
Good thing is it comes with a canvas cover :)

A Kiwi Jeep of 16 Field Regiment in the mud.

My plan...
any idea improvements most welcome :)
There is an elevation change, and the Jeep & QL Bedford lead a convoy of 16 Field Regiment.
Following on is a Dingo of 10 Transport Coy, and then two Quad Gun tractors & 25 Pdrs of 161 battery.
An LPOP is at the side watching the convoy pass.
A British Centurion is dug in on high ground near the bridge...

Looks like a great plan to me and mighty fine RB bridge parts.
Feels like it will have a good flow of inherent movement in it.

Thanks Wally & Paul & Andrew. :P
Three weeks now into the GB and status so far:

- Quad tractors collected a little more dust…
- 25 Pounders progressing slowly in the back ground.

- QL Bedford made a big leap this weekend with most sub-assemblies made. :)

- New item added to the scene is a Jeep with soft top, this will be leading the convoy.
Internal roof bows have been added in the canvas hood.
Some other minor additions will also be added…

- Started the NZ Pattern Wheeled carrier, lots of rivets to decapitate!

- Centurion collecting dust.
Some individual track links and mantle cover in the post as well as an Eduard photo-etch set (yes I said no photo-etch, but this baby needs it!).

- Dingo is still in the box. :(

Some other parts in the post include new commonwealth AOS decals from Archer Fine Transfers for all the vehicles.
Also some additional figure sets.

some goodies turned up.
Centurion Mantle cover missed the photo...
Little box is some 25 Pounder ammo boxes from PanzerArt.

The Bronco limber cover will need a bit of 'tweaking' to fit the old Tamiya limber...

Well no progress for the last 2.5 weeks as I have been travelling overseas for work.
I did manage to find some 'Value-Gear' resin goodies whilst in Ireland, but did not have time to find any more IBG QL's when in Poland.,.. next time maybe.

However when in Auckland airport I picked up the following book and read it from cover to cover, great insight and help for the diorama.

www.penguin.co.nz/products/9780143568483...erans-remember-korea
Worth a read.

The resin goodies (made in Ireland), some of which will be used here...

Sweet, I've seen lots of that Value Gear used on FB. It paints up into some nice looking stowage. Best thing is that he doesn't include duplicate parts in the sets

Thanks Dads Army, I hope it looks good, just need to make sure I finish it.

Andrew, the value gear castings seems to be very detailed and nice, so very little clean up :)

Small update, both No.27 Limbers basically done.
I added a little bit of extra detail and made some foil mud flaps to replace the original ones.
One has the Bronco front cover fitted, which looks good.
Cheers Grant

Also had some new decals arrive for this.
# 44 is for 16 Field Rgt.
# 72 is for 10 Transport Coy.

Thanks guys.
Since the weekend was fine I did not manage much, Quad's chassis were finished off and one engine will form part of the QL's stowage.

Another few goodies arrived today for the diorama from Hobby Easy.

Next part of the project will be back to the Centurion...

I did say it would be out of the box, well kind of, the new barrel, new mantlet cover, new shells, new photo-etch, new tracks are still out of the box... :P
