For an idea of what is eligible here is a good list, which will provide plenty of opportunities for a subject: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_military_operations
Note: even though some of those operations start before and/or finish after the above period, GB subject must have been deployed after start of August 1990 to be eligible, and it must be a combat zone where actual combat occurred, even if the subject did not actively participate i.e. patrol, recon, sentry, etc. If in doubt, check with the admins.
No part started kits, must be a new build. Please post a photo of the unstarted kit contents and a date reference as the first post in your build thread

I'm with Mr. S on this one :

This is my Hobbyboss 1:48 project from a couple of years ago. Definitely my favourite type from the Eff-teen era. But it's your choice, matey.

Ian.

The kit has recessed lines inside the wings to be able to fold them, and Hasegawa released a limited edition boxing (CH39) with cast brass wingfolds, but if you want to fold the wings, you need aftermarket, or some scratchbuilding of the wing fold mechanism.

Hi all,
I managed to get some to make a start on the Hornet. A bit of paint and the cockpit should be complete. I know
The pilot isn’t quite right for an OEF period pilot, hopefully he’ll blend into the background when all is complete!

More soon.
Richard.

Ok, so the pilot thing started to bug me. I have made an attempt to modernise his uniform with a bit of careful filing around his helmet and Tamiya epoxy putty for the inflatable device.

Onto the paint.
Cheers,
Richard.
