Start Date 17/11/2015
End Date 9/11/2016

Anything produced or operated by the USSR from 1950 - 1990 from the Army, Airforce or Navy.
Doesn't have to be theatre specific, but there's the option to cover Russian forces in Afghanistan etc which allows for plenty of options.

Baby steps

I started building models, then I was collecting more than I built. Now I'm more of an archivist.

So, while taking the pics I see that the AOA vane needs to go on. Other than that it's done.

Very nice job, I really like it.

It's about now that the missing panel off the nose will turn up. :)

Thanks guys for the compliments and feedback.

It is a great kit. A joy to build. It does require care. Mostly around getting a good fit for the cockpit before you close the halves.

The mistakes were mine. Really I should not have lost the screen de-iceing panel. It made the nose a mare and I should have gone back over the cockpit fit before closing the halves.

For all that though it looks quite nice. If i were to do another and there were a conversion I would do an Indian Bison.
