Yes with a but. If it fits with an area I'm interested in and is within a time period that I can fit another build into then I'll be in. As a rule I'd need one to start at least three months into the future to allow me time to clear the bench and get something suitable.

My wife calls me a curmudgeon. I haven't looked it up but I assume it means "fun loving and free spirited" or some such twaddle. I inform and perform over at www.militarymodels.co.nz and stick my oar in here as well. My passion is WWII 1/35 armour but I'm coming around to liking the odd 1/32 thing...

Yeah, I'm the same.

We'd need to nominate a minimum time frame before a GB could commence to allow interested parties to prepare?

It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.

I voted 'yes', but a lot also depends on my personal/modelling calendar and the subject of the GB.

agreed with what's been said so far...

Something that interests me and I have time to fit it in my busy life...

At the moment the GB's that have been mentioned... nothing gets my juices flowing

Have said yes. But who knows how many as it would be on a what interests me basis. As I said else where, the Kiwi/Anzac 'what if' interests me. Never done a what if before and was planning an RNZAF what if anyway so would be a goer.

It's not yours until the little
infantry guy stands on it.

I'm definately in as long as it's something thats down my alley. I can't guarantee I'll actually get any finished but it might give me more incentive to try to finish something...

3 off the top of my head

1. Hall of Shame motivator - pull out your oldest unfinished kit(s) and "git 'er dun".
2. This ain't yo daddy's ..... - the one piece of equipment you would give an arm and a leg to be able to fly/ride/drive/whatever
3. Special edition - build something that was painted to mark a significant occasion i.e. golden Skyhawk, one of the many European Tiger Meet/Anniversary schemes, CoNA aircraft. I'm sure there must be some armour equivalent, for those so inclined.

I think I'd find a group build a good way to provide a bit extra motivation to actually finish something.

Having said that I've no real interest in any of the current ones, 'What ifs' have never interested me, and we are currently a little oversubscribed in that department with 50% of the current GBs being 'What ifs'.

I really like the Hall of Shame idea. I think we need to do that at least once each year. I have a long line and am really starting to enjoy getting back to them. The StuG G is my entry at the moment. Still waiting to be finished after 14 years, and finally, this is the year. I'm going to pick and choose too. I'm ready for the IDF build and could easily enter the Wehrmacht 46 build with one of the Panther Fs. I'm needing to watch the closing time for the be a man build. I have the Pak 36 made, but the figures....
