Fantastic result. I love the look of the aluminium under the chipping. :cheer: How many hours in this one?

I would hate to think how many. The engine was several weeks work alone

Overall this is an absolutely stunning build, really well done - for me the chipping is a little over-done and bright in some places, but that's entirely a personal thing. I know that some machines were a lot more beaten-up than this too.

So on to the next one, looking forward to seeing the Mustang side-by-side with this in due course.

Ian.

Thanks Ian. I fully agree with your comments re the chipping. I applied chipping the same way to the wing roots on the Mustang and actually went back over them 3 times to tone them down a bit and refine them. I've also chipped the Mustang's props by using Vallejo Metal Jet Exhaust which is more a gunmetal colour, so they're not as pronounced as the Spit's.
