Should be interesting for sure.
I've been looking for refs and build logs on the net and there's just not much out there.
There was a lot of interest when this one was first announced to be released but since then has dwindled next to nothing.

I read the road wheels are about an inch to small in diameter but that's not enough to split hairs over in my opinion.
As far as I know the rest is within scale for a model.

From what I understand, it had a short period of use - from El Alamein through to Italy - which makes it a very fitting subject. It was then replaced by the M7 Priest and relegated to artillery duties. I'd imagine the rear doors will be open? Looking forward to it, however it comes B)

Looks to be a good kit to me. Nice decals, fair amount of PE, instruction booklet and you start on something other than the running gear in this case the lower hull interior. :woohoo:

This will go nicely with that DML Sexton when it is released next month. B)

OK folks here we go.
Today I got through steps 1-7 which assembles the lower hull interior components.
Very little was glued in place for easy detail painting later.

A cool little feature I didn't know these had. A slide for the driver to get to his seat from the fighting compartment which raises up to reveal an ammo storage box underneath.

Step #8 starts the running gear assembly

You guys take care ya hear

Knocked out the the suspension yesterday while watching the NASCAR race.

Moving appliances out for the wife to clean behind took up todays fun time.
It was raining so I didn't fuss very much. ;)

Awesome pick.

Nice work so far Tony. That is a really good looking kit. Some serious detail there.

On the Bench:
Tamiya 1/24 Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI (1993 DTM) - "Built to Race" GB
Revell 1/24 '77 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4 - getting the "Mad-Maxed" treatment - moving to the "Diorama" GB
