MEK sets just as fast, wicks quickly around the joint and actually welds the styrene. There are other products that work the same, ie Plastruct Plastic Weld. Basically any very thin solvent cement.

Or, Tamiya extra thin, which isn't quite as thin as pure MEK and takes a little bit longer to do set, but is still safer than CA on a canopy.

I use my glue Hadley, I know you got some just give it a go, like MEK it wicks but it cures a bit quicker than MEK.

Depends which Island you're on, I don't generally like sending it in the post but have been known to courier it in the past. Only got a handful of bottles left, I'm in between bottle suppliers at the moment, I might continue to stay with the 50ml bottles but I'm trying to source some better ones with applicators.

I'm north island just past palmy. No real hurry -just the idea of a thin glue to fix clear canopies would eliminate my biggest headache with some kits especially if going for "expo" quality

I've painted this and the Blackhawk in nato black, but they seem too dark and I'm worried that the decals will be hard to see... I've already applied the clear coat but I'm thinking I'm gona need to redo the paint, maybe with a few drops of white to lighten it up...?
Opinions and ideas please...
