No mate it was a real dog of a kit anyway, the plastic was thick and brittle, the resin was nice. I've got another couple of viable candidates to choose from.
Old Revell -1/48 ME262
Promodeller - 1/48 Arado
Trumpeter - 1/32 Mig 21
Tamiya - 1/48 Meteor (in a bag no decals etc, not sure if it's all there).
Revell - 1/32 Salamander but I don't have time to do it the justice I want.
Plus a couple of other qualifiers
'Yea, Though I Fly Through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, I Shall Fear No Evil. For I am at 50,000 Feet and Climbing.'
Which is the revell one, which is the hasegawa molds. Is the promodeller box massive? I have the hasegawa nightfighter boxing and the box is about a quarter the size of my uncles revell box.
haseagwa made the molds for revell, and then after a little bit started doing their own releases from it.
In Soviet Russia, Iron Curtain GB builds you!
People look at me funny when I say I own "Fifty shades of Grey". FS36118, FS36270, FS36375.....
If the Tamiya Meatbox is all present and correct do that, Gaz... It's a no brainer/fall-together build and looks superb (unless it's the awful looking Mk1 with that horrid looking canopy). Failing that, if you have an acre or two of workbench, build the MiG !!
