This one has been sitting in my stash for a while now, just waiting for the time to be right to start working on it. And it just so happens that one of the youtube channels I follow,
had a WW1 GB planned for July. Since I'm off to China on Tuesday for 5 weeks I was going to be a little late starting but the dates for the GB have been changed to 28th July-9th November which suits perfectly.
I have cheated a little bit as I'd begun working on the engine & transmission a few weeks ago but I'll make up for the false start by also banging out the Emhar 1:35 MkIV Female I scored from one of Model Air's facebook competitions.
I am finding the Meng kit a little daunting- the only other scale model kit I've made for 15 years was the Emhar 1:72 MkA Whippet so its one hell of a step up! Hopefully while I'm in China I'll get to see one in person at the Beijing Tank museum & get some extra insight into it.
