Decided to try something different, so I built some cars. You can see the progress just over the 3 cars. Each took about a week to build.
First off the line was an AMT 1970 Dodge Super Bee, not a bad kit, the paint was a cheap can from the Warehouse, it's a bit brighter than I wanted but I'll have to live with it now.
Next kit off the assembly line is the Revell 34 Ford Chop, nice kit decided to try the SMS paints. They are really good to work with, nice finish. Bit of a polish and job done. I did lose one of the headlight lenses, it'll turn up. The Chrome trim is my first attempt at using Bare Metal Foil, it's pretty easy to work with.
Third and final build is the very nice Tamiya Toyota Supra.
Finished in SMS Cherry Red over Black, I decided to add a bit of bling (as it's my car.........) Bare Metal Foil. Again I was very impressed with the SMS paints they are definitely my go to paints for autos now.
Sorry about the quality of the photos, I just used my phone for these shots.
