Well its been a busy few months.. Haven't been on the forums as much as I should be.. But still have a look when I can...

Last year wasn't a great one. Only managed to complete two kits, which is pretty piss poor! But hopefully this year will be different as this is the first one for the year.

Finemolds 1/72 Y-Wing, Painted with Mr Color, Mr Paint and Tamiya. Weathering is all AK Interactive.

Very nicely done, and displayed. A great idea with the piece of Death Star

Looks fantastic.
Quite like the Star Wars / si fi stuff, might need to branch out I feel.

Wow nicely done! I quite like the subtle wearing over it all. It's like its heavy, but not overly - it's really nice work

Nicely done Dave, I like it a lot, subtle and well represented weathering :D

Looking great mate. I was wondering the other day where you had got to. Glad to see you're still chipping away and enjoying yourself.

Look very nice. Great to see the Finemolds kit getting built.

I wonder how it compares to the Bandai Kit...

Cheers

That's a sweet looking build.
I don't know much about Star Wars so a Y-Wing meant nothing to me - but then I caught a glimpse of the orange overalls on the pilot and I knew it must be Star Wars related. Funny how one tiny detail can trigger a connection in your brain.
I guess that means you must have got the orange colour spot on. :)

That's nice!! Love the weathering, not too heavy, not too light. You nailed it!

Cheers Everyone! Was a fun build... It didn't take long at all, maybe 8-10 hours at the most.

Yeah I am still around.. Few changes at work that's made me busier... But hopefully that is going to change!

You'll enjoy it. It's one of the best engineered kits I've ever built.

Have fun

Think I admired this on Facebook already, but just wanted to say that it's awesome. The base is neat too.
