I Just got the Italeri M7 & M4A3 QB, but it looks like the M4A3 has gone up a notch
while the M7 has the same colour & detail level as the M3 halftracks,
The M4A3 looks more like a Trumpeter kit, not just that it is light gray
But the detail is finer & the same issues Closed hatches, solid lifting rings & lamp/lamp guards
There is even solid vision guards on the hatches.with a good pinwash & drybrush might look good.
The turret is the late style & is nicely detail (the oval loaders hatch is not raised!)
The tracks are finer than the M7 ones and a different style (though same modular style as the M7 connecting to the hull)
the have the ribbed wheels (rather than open) & they have a metal chevron pattern, which is a little to fine (M7 are plain rubber block)
They still suffer from solid sprockets & have no guide teeth or track interior detail.
Hopefully we will get a M3 Grant/ Lee from Italeri with the early suspension as with the detail level now will be quite useful.
Of course you get 2 kits & plenty of decal options

They are wargaming models,
Hence the 12 parts & Quick Build title.
but they are very useful for parts for other projects,
(I bought them for the upper hulls to use on a M4A3E8 & M36A1 projects)
Trust me there are far worse kits out there!
