More 2ndNZEF, 3rd Div info too - Not many pictures here but useful information all the same : nzetc.victoria.ac.nz/tm/scholarly/tei-WH2Paci-_N74353.html
If interested, the whole scholarly peice begins here. The whole is accessible from this page and each chapter opens at the plus signs. Loads of info but hardly a picture at all. : nzetc.victoria.ac.nz/tm/scholarly/tei-WH2Paci-t1-body.html
I also have a very few vauge pictures in a couple of my books which I can scan and post here too.

Yeah sure go for it, I like Grant's idea of a naming convention
Your Name - Pacific GB - Subject

Gary's - Pacific GB - Japanese Submarine X

This is what I'd like to build for this GB, but............. I have slightly started it ;-).
Just a bit of paint (chromate yellow) and the fuselage and engine cowl are off the sprues.
Let me know what you think guys, no offence will be taken if it doesn't qualify - I have a few other kits I could choose from :-)

I'll start a build thread after this weekend provided there are no objections.

(I'm sure Gary could pass on a message to me if anyone wants to object anonymously :-) )

Just take a picture of the model/box etc in front of your PC displaying the logo, you only got to do it a couple of times during your build.

Hi Gary (& I guess maybe everyone ...?)
Can I enter more builds in this GB? I've just received a commission for 1/32 Revell F4U-1A Corsair RNZAF - a scratch build detailing challenge - and I figure it might as well be in PTO CBI GB? The question was also asked if I can retrospectively enter 1/32 Kittyhawk III NZ3072 '19' [commission] which I just finished a few days ago?
Technically I am not the owner of either model and I did get paid (however little it may be per hour) to build them.
Anyhow, that's my question. What do you and the folks think?
Cheers,
Wally.

Heya Wally, I'm totally fine with adding more builds, the only stipulations are that it has to of started after the start date of that GB, and you have to have at least one photo with the logo (no photoshopping), oh and you cough up another $5 for each built :)
Other than that build as many as you want it's all prize money for someone.

No mate ... it's all prize money for MEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
Seriously though, I think that counts out NZ3072, but I will put the Corsair in and send you a fiver (or maybe $15 since everything I will build during the GB will qualify)
Cheers
Wally.

You didn't submit anything photos Hadley so Wally won by default with his Cat Duck Dio

Wow that's a nice diorama
And I posted photos ages ago, well before due date
And what u mean by default? Thought that members voted and I never saw anything...

Not saying this because I think I should win or anything, just wondered what happened to the results

Sorry mate but I'm not going to trawl a bunch of forum posts looking for people's photos.
It was by default because no one else submitted photos to me after the end date, so there was nothing to vote on other than Wally's builds.
None of us others got anything over the line in time.

The rules for Group builds are
Please send a maximum of 5 photos of your finished work along with a brief description, the kits and extras used etc.
It may not of been made clear on this group build but it was on the previous one.

But maybe putting that in the rules is a good idea. I looked at this and theres nothing about submitting photos after the due date
