The subject of this group build is to take a model off your shelf that's been sitting there unfinished and finish it.
To start post photos of your model(s) in it's current state with a quick blurb of what version you were building and why it ended up abandoned. Then blog and post photos of you finishing it!
Extra kudos the older it is.

Well, these are my three contenders for this contest I think:

The SdKfz251 I never really got anywhere past building oob and a basic paint scheme. Which I hate and looks like nothing. I am thinking a major remodel here, maybe scratch it into a special version or just add a ton of scratched accessories/details then repaint with a winter camo etc.
(original thread www.kiwimodeller.com/index.php/forum/40-...sf-c-painting-thread )

The BMW I lost interest when I hated how it looked and broke it by accident! I think a desert repaint and a really cute lil sand-dune dio could be in order for this one.
(original thread www.kiwimodeller.com/index.php/forum/40-...-bmw-r75-with-troops )

The V1 has been sitting there since I built my first model in many years (the Gloster Meteor) which it came with. This would be a complete rebuild I think, using references to make it accurate and build some kind of nice deployment or even part of a launcher.

I may end up doing all three by the end of the contest!
Shaun

I like the idea of a re-do of the SdKfz251 and a winter camo job!

On the workbench:

One hell of a mess

Be good to see all 3 finished.

Depending on how the A-4 goes, I may try and do a few as well. Good feeling finishing up the kits that have been languishing.

You could do a dio with the sdkfz and the bike...

In Soviet Russia, Iron Curtain GB builds you!

People look at me funny when I say I own "Fifty shades of Grey". FS36118, FS36270, FS36375.....

Tis true but I felt the bike would get lost next to that big thing. I was thinking of getting a staff car and having the bike and car on the Normandy dunes in June 44, some kind of gag about 'Sir, I think there are some boats out there!' ;)
