It already looks like it's made of wood. I love the graining work.

I been there to, great location to visit, free access into the bunker and roof, and of course the dry dock that was destroyed by HMS Campbeltown during the St_Nazaire_Raid,

NICE ANCHOR!!! Lovely fine details. I’d almost leave it without chains or have it sporting a broken one. Just four or five links. Goes with the wreck.

Looking good Maarten.
Is the housing being replaced by the winch, or is the housing going over the winch?

I will slip this in my U Boot Bunker build :

My old 1/35 scale waterline Uboot is back for an overhaul ,many small things are missing and some are broken off......i will upgrade some of its armaments and give it a new paint job.

Scratch build it 20+ years ago every rivet was glued in placed by hand ,and for the last 7 years it was in my brother possession .
It had a nice soapy rinse under the shower to remove dust and cobwebs .

Did all the repairs and added more detail that i didn't know back when i build it,

Primed...... this will also be the under color for the salt chipping.

Ran out of resin still need to cast two more life boat canisters you see on the front of the UBoat, also still to ad are the inner bridge details.
