Think I've inadvertantly set m'self up here for at least three Phantom builds. The 1:48 F-4C, a 1:72 F-4G and for the Vietnam war GB, a USMC F-4B. Think my bench is turning into a Phantom Phactory this year.
Yes it will, I'm going to buy that kit aswell as it can be built as a late slatted 'E' straight from the box. I've already been in touch with some of my modelling buddies to try and get some decals for a USAFE machine.
If only I could build kits at the pace I buy kits!

Ok, ya got me too. Love the big Phantom and seeing as I have one in my stash, might make it my next project. Got this kit, and will build OOB...because it is soooooo cool
I saw a picture of this aircraft in a magazine back around the time of the 84 Tiger Meet and built my own version then with an old 1/72 kit using some Humbrol enamels, a hairy stick, and a generous dose of artistic licence. It was before the internet so aftermarket decals were in the realm of phantasy, and do-it- yourself was the order of the day. I painted it flat black with a hardware store spray can, then drew the stripes free-hand with a pencil and painted them over in yellow. It actually came out pretty well, but I never got any decals for it. When I saw this Hasegawa kit in the shops I pounced on it straight away, so a GB is a good incentive to get it built!
