The build is open to any scale, but is limited to vehicles from the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series. Historical NASCAR vehicles are also eligible
The model must be built in its entirety within the specified build dates and the build should be accompanied by a thread in the group build forum documenting regular progress. Post shots of your sprues at the beginning of your thread. By the end of the GB (and no later than 24 hours after the completion date) participants should post five pictures of the completed build in the GB completed builds thread.
There is no entry fee for the GB, but a donation for the upkeep of Kiwimodeller is welcome
The winner of the group build will be decided by popular vote. Voting will run for the week following the 18th of September 2016, ending Midday the 25th of October 2016. A deadlock will be decided by a separate run-off vote.

On the older kits when they first started doing the tyre decals they apply fine, the later issue kits the decals are useless. These are aftermarket slixx decals and they are a bit hit and miss, I found trimming the carrier made the decals curl up so that didn't work. Basically is just an issue of trying to get them to stick to the vinyl tyre, sometimes its easy and sometimes not but you just don't know until they dry! Hopefully the micro set will settle them down, pics were taken when still wet
very nice. what paints are you using for the body?
Stand aside caffine, this is a job for alcohol.

Hi all, sorry for my lack of response, not been on the forum much lately as been very busy recently.
The paint on this body was just from a rattle can, white primer and used some Aus Export paint from super cheap auto. Bit of wet sanding after primer then light coats on the top coat and finally a clear coat. Nothing special!
