Hi all, here's a thread to vote on the winner of D-Day group build. I've looked through the threads for the complete builds and posted a picture plus a link to the completed build so that you can peruse further. Hopefully I haven't missed anything, please pm me to let me know if I have. We can leave this open (until midday Sunday the 31st May) and announce the winner that evening. That might also give enough time to negotiate the winning spoils.

Please don't post in this thread. Hopefully a kindly mod can come along and lock it and make it sticky.

Wally's Tempest.

Yes, you beat me to it, I was going to wait until it slipped off then drag it back screaming and shouting.
So come on folks get ur votes in, I do advise looking at the build links as there is some fantastic work/effort gone in to these builds that isn't necessarily reflected in a single photograph.

I voted, how about you? . . . . . As Gary said, a lot of work has gone in to these builds so go take a look at their respective threads before voting if you wish, because one photo simply does not show what went in to these . . . Come on y'all :)

They are all excellent builds, great threads and very enjoyable at the time. I don't care who wins, I just want lots and lots of people to vote.
Sending this to keep the voting thread on page 1
Cheers
Wally.

Maartens vote for Wally came in after your post, do you want to count it or leave it? I prefer arm wrestle as it might not cost me $45 then :P
But your decision is final Grant as you've set this up.

I think in fairness it should stand where it was yesterday. Congrats Wally and Gary! I'll leave it to you guys to fight it out for the spoils (if any).

Well done Wally your builds always have such nice air of authenticity to them in the way you spin a story, it's gratifying to have tied with a build such as yours.
I'll publically donate my half of the winnings ($23) to the site's upkeep
Thanks for taking over this Group build (from Andrew I think it was? )

It's an honour to have tied with you Gary. Your builds radiate quality.
This was a very enjoyable GB and fitted in beautifully for me with a number of builds I was doing anyhow.
My prize monies can also stay in the consolidated fund for site upkeep. (I haven't a show in an arm wrestle with you!)
Thanks Grant for taking over for the home stretch.

Thanks for the donations including the one you made last week Wally, also thanks to the others that have recently put their hands in their pockets to help out, it's not expected but much appreciated.
If you're coming to Armistice Wally I've got a prize for you, it's the least I can do and I was given it to give away as a prize. Just remind me the week of the event and I'll put it in my kit bag to bring along.

Cheers Gary. I'll be at Armistice again, leastwise as far as I can tell at present.
I think I'll need to come to collect that 1/24 Typhoon BoB prize eh!?
Hoping like hell I'll have a built one by then as well. Airfix take their sweet time answering spare parts requests though ...
Closer to the time I must remember to remind you (or Steve?) to bring along my little P-47 I left behind last year too.
All the Best and "Tally Ho Chaps!" into that BoB GB. It's gonna be a cracker.
