Never thought I'd get it done in time, every time I thought I was getting close I remembered a whole bunch of other things I wanted to do to it, I almost gave up on it over the replacement flaps but got over that in the end.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments, I was going for a sun faded slightly war weary look, was happy with the fading in the top.
Funny you should say that Mark I've actually got some in 1/48 that I'm going to add, hopefully this time next year it will of mutated in to a Dio with figures and a jeeps etc.

What a stunner mate . . . even as she sits. Brilliant job!!! :cheer:
And a dio may even bring her to full glory, not that she is any less than that anyway. A cracker. :woohoo:

Tamiya 1/24 Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI (1993 DTM) - "Built to Race" GB
Revell 1/24 '77 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4 - getting the "Mad-Maxed" treatment - moving to the "Diorama" GB

Don't let someone dim your light simply because it's shinning in their eyes !

Great build Gary. Glad you got it done in time.
Looks really good in the flesh too!
