Concerned I may have been too subtle overall with the chipping and weathering.. my thinking was that these were only in service a matter of weeks at this point. But I guess they had a hard life in Normandy and aesthetics counts for something. Looks a bit 'dull'.

hmm.

Very nice, thanks so much!. I love the first shot especially. may go with something like that but amp up and move closer the banking a touch for that bit of bocage feeling (and to fit on a base!)

Time and mood means this is now going to be called finished as just a nice tank.

Looks really good :)
You can always add some chipping,I use a bit of torn scotch brite pad, brush a thin layer of paint on a board, dab scotch brite pad in paint dab on board and then dab away ;)

Nice clean build there. Looks straight off the ship from the factory...

In Soviet Russia, Iron Curtain GB builds you!

People look at me funny when I say I own "Fifty shades of Grey". FS36118, FS36270, FS36375.....

I was going to say something very similar... Looks like it's just been washed-down and ready for embarkation for it's run across the Channel.

Interestingly there is actually a fair bit of chipping and staining and even some rust drips.. but I have great trouble getting it to not look clean in photos, I think it is the slight sheen and olive green somehow!

I knew there was a reason I dont do shermans ;)
