Hi,

Over the next 12 or so months I have set my self a challenge to build 12 Tamiya Kits.. Mostly OOB. I have had a fossick through the stash and have picked the following kits to do..

So a good selection of what Tamiya is about classics, mainstream stuff, a few oddities and a reasonable selection of scales...

The mix might change as I fancy building A 1/48 jet..

Cheers
John

I'll make a start and see how far we get. The Do 335 is up first..

Thanks all we will see how we go...

I have made a start on the Do335...

Cockpit....

Main assembly done...

The seams need a minor fettle and I need to decide if I want open or closed cowl flaps...

I'm going to do a luft 46 Ost front WHIF scheme I think for the paint work...

Cheers

John

Nice start John, that cockpit looks great. 12 kits in 12 months shouldn't be a problem for you, seeing how quick you've run stuff off in the past.
Looking forward to the updates.

You'll love the do335, fantastic kit. One of the few I have ever finished (my build speed not the kit). Goes together well with next to no filler and looks great when built.

Must try this...but 12 kits a year even for 10 years would barely make a dent in my stash....although it might stop it getting any bigger!
Great project. Will follow with interest.

Great idea, best of luck and it looks like you have set yourself up well with Tamiya and let's hope the goal motivates lots of quality build time.
