Algy was the one always left to do tedious tasks while Biggles and Ginger went off on their adventures ;)

Ok lets nip this in the bud.
Ginger is the nickname given to the flying jacket as used by RAF Bomber Command because of the ginger fur around the collar. Most of the traditional flying jackets had white collars so that they could be spotted by ASAR, I guess they felt that there wasn't much point if you're at 30,000' so they had ginger collars, although I'm not sure why as I don't believe that this is the natural colour of the wool?
Mine is a genuine Eastman and even has Air Ministry label inside, this is the wee beastie www.eastmanleather.com/raf-1942-pattern-...397212h0hdt56dm6jdc2
Although I don't think I'd pay $1500 these days.

I knew it was going too well, I opened up the Eduard exterior set and it was missing the middle fret. I'll contact Eduard about a replacement and in the mean time I might just buy another exterior set if I can find one.
This set impacts on all parts of the aircraft, I was working on the wing slats but I can't put them in because I need to align it with the top half of the wing which I can't add because the detail set details the the lower wing half.

Eduard must have had the same QC that checked mine when your set was packed

Thanks all, Eduard are coming to the table and will be sending me the replacement fret. In the mean time I've had an offer to borrow one from Fooesboy so I've just got to get my ass over there to pick it up.
In the meantime there's not much I can do as its mostly reliant on the missing fret.

I've got a card to call to collect tomorrow, I'm sure it is my correct fret for the Wellington, so you can expect to be waiting around 10 days for the replacement from Eduard.

Lucky you have a nearby option :cheer:
