Behind the Iron Curtain
Start Date 17/11/2015
End Date 9/11/2016

Anything produced or operated by the USSR from 1950 - 1990 from the Army, Airforce or Navy.
Doesn't have to be theatre specific, but there's the option to cover Russian forces in Afghanistan etc which allows for plenty of options.

Must admit it's time to start panicking a bit - my previous GB starts have all stalled  and time is standing still for no man/woman or child, so after a quick flick through some plans I've found something (hopefully) quick and easy (famous last words  ).

Nothing more Soviet than a cruise around Red Square with the rag-top down

A bit of a hunt around the inter-web and found the parts manual so am good to go :woohoo: :

Body will be vac-formed, the wheels will come from the Trumpeter 1/35th scale UAZ-469 they are an almost perfect size B) .
Just waiting for the sun to come up tomorrow so I can make some dust for the body master pattern :) .
Progress to follow ...........

Great idea Turtle.
Is that a KGB agent placing a 'bug' under the wheel arch? :)

When you say "body will be vac-form" - does that mean you are going to make the vac form (mold) - that would be incredible to see!
