1/35 Tamiya Quad Gun Tractor was created by Dads Army
Hi McCoy, Which of the following kits meet the GB criteria

- 1/72 Hasegawa F-4 Phantom
- 1/ 72 Italeri P-51D Mustang
- 1/35 Tamiya Quad gun tractor
- 1/35 Italeri 40mm Bofors gun

I have some "study leave" due so I may be able to paticipate :)

EDIT - I dont know the age of these kits although I'm pretty sure the Quad is a re-release, but I'm kinda hoping the P-51 might qualify (It looks quite crappy  )

Quite often they give a date either inside the larger pieces of the kit or sometimes on the instructions. I guess a rerelease with an old date in the instructions would fit, wouldn't it?
What about something like the rereleased B-24 D from Revell, it's from the same moulds but being made now?

Not much to go on mate but I'll give it a try.

The F-4 Phantom? How many parts does it have? somewhere in the lines of 70 pcs or 130 pcs? The newer toolings have around 130 pcs so if it got around 70 pcs it's ok for this build.
The P-51D is from what I understand too new. It seems to be from the later part of the '90s n' thus not fit for this build. But yes, it's a crappy kit allright that eats filler for breakfast...
The Quad hails from the '70s n' is ok for this build
The 40mm Bofors is way too new as it hails from the late '00s

I'm lookin' forward to see your build mate.

Yes, it's the kit itself n' not the boxing that sets the age for the build.
