Here's another idea for a future group build.

Like the title says. Build a military AFV, Plane or Ship that is named after an animal. For example you could build a Sd.Kfz.234/4 Puma or a Aérospatiale SA 330 Puma helicopter or something else that is named after an animal. It leaves a huge span of options here as it's quite popular to name militaristic stuff after animals, just look at those popular big cats from WWII.

Thoughts n' opinions please...

At my chaotic desk:

Airfix: Messerschmitt Bf109E-4 1:72
Heller: FW 190 A-5 1:24
Revell: F-104C Starfighter 1:72
AZ Model: TP-81 Grumman Goose 1:72
Tasca: Sherman Firefly Vc 1:35
DML: Panther D 1:35
Tamiya: Char B1 Bis 1:35
Tamiya: Cromwell Mk.IV 1:35
Tamiya: Sherman M4 Early 1:35

Sounds good, would only official names apply or would nicknames (ie warthog instead of Thunderbolt 2 for the a-10) be acceptable as well?

I'd say it would depend from case to case on just how commonly used the nickname is but I'd say that the Warthog would be acceptable as not all know that the A-10 is named Thunderbolt II n' say what when they here the name but says yest that one when you tell 'em that it's refered to as the Warthog...

Cool, so general group consensus would govern acceptability? (man, where did that sentence come from, I didn't think I was awake enough to think of stuff like that...) Sounds good to me.
