1:32 A4-E of the Blue Angels, The BA's have to be my favorite display group (along side Kiwi Red i hasten to add) they fly with such precision and their shows are just knife edge stuff...some incredibly dangerous maneuvers!! I think..now you blokes will correct me... they were the only "other" display team along with our very own Kiwi Red to do the "Plugged" Loop and Barrel Roll using the A4's buddy pack.
Anyway they hold a special place for me, and i'm actually trying to build all of their aircraft so the A4 will be one in a series (including the Constellation and the Herc-"fat albert")
So... a purpose built kit from Hase including decals!!!
more pics soon... just thought i'd get this up on the site...
Jeez FK, you sure are pooping out scooters at a fair rate of knots there aint yah...a production line
Not complaining, coz this kiwi lad is also super fond of the lil ol sqwak too...keep em coming, watching every one
Update In Stash:
Lots of 1/35 Armor mainly WWII German and a few Modern British/American pieces, 1/32 Aircraft and 1/48 Aircraft. Aircraft chosen to replicate RNZAF and RAAF types through the years. Some RAF & USAF types exist also.
My preference - WW2 RNZAF & Pacific Theatre, Allied & Axis, ETO, Mediterranean, AFV & figures
I enjoy doing research
repainted the gold skyhawk.... and put final coats on the Blue Angels A4
Masking and more masking
Jets this big take a bit of maneuvering when trying to get an all over gloss coat, the nose is weighted and the plastic is sizable so its heavy! to heavy for any of my xacto stands so a large paint brush with blue tack wedged into a book case surfices..
