Skyhawk Challenge Guidelines was created by Craig Sargent
This challenge will run from Dec 22 2014 to June 22 2015 (coinciding with the end of the 60th anniversary year of the Skyhawk's first flight). 2 month extension added, so final FINAL date is August 22 2015,

Any model and any scale is eligible, but must be a plastic kitset of any variant of the A-4 Skyhawk.

Given the amount of schemes this jet has worn, and a wide choice of markings, there will not be any "what-if" entries accepted.

Partially started kitsets will be eligible dependent on amount of work already carried out, but unstarted kits would be preferred. This will be at moderators discretion (bribery may be considered :woohoo: )

You can use as much aftermarket as you wish, scratch build whatever or build OOB.

Rules subject to change up until Dec 22 start date as flashes of inspiration arrive.

At this stage, it is not envisioned this will be a pay to play, simply open to all members of Kiwi Modeller.

Can everyone start a new thread for each build. If you are participating with more than one build, then one thread per build please.

On Monday (Dec 22), or as soon after that date as you start, please post a photo of your model as it stands before you start into the thread that you have started for that model. Would prefer unstarted builds, but if you have done some partial work that will be ok, as long as it is not into major assembly.

If you have one, posting a photo of the aircraft you are building would also be good, but please don't post anything that would breach copyright, or without original photographers permission.

We are now into the 2 month extension as it looks like there are still a few A-4s coming down the track. There will be no more extensions, so get them done.

I am still working on some awards/rewards at the end of the GB.
