I felt like building something different over summer :)

On to the bench is Tamiya's R34 GT-R Z-Tune. This was the first kit I purchased from ebay. It included a PE update set :woohoo:

I've started on the body. I'm trying a different approach this time round. I've already glued the wing mirrors on prior to applying a primer coat. Traditionally I've always left them off and painted them separate.

I'll be painting the body using Tamiya rattle cans. I've decided on a Pure White finish, with bronze wheels. I'm going to order the Tamiya Ings+1 rear wing set for it too

It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.

PS I always did like the R34 Godzilla's the best of all the skylines, only recently eclipsed by the R35's....

In Soviet Russia, Iron Curtain GB builds you!

People look at me funny when I say I own "Fifty shades of Grey". FS36118, FS36270, FS36375.....

I drive Nissan. :woohoo:

Some of my most savoured motorsport moments where when the GTR's kicked arse at Bathurst. Just magic!!!

I was driving Nissan way back then too :S

Nice kit Andrew, watching this build.

Have always liked how mean and angry this skyline looked. The white will help in keeping that look.

Can't wait to see more
