I'm pretty sure that most of us have drooled over photos on the net of Bandai's 1/72 Millennium Falcon, I know I have! :) I didn't think I'd ever get the chance to get one as importing one wasn't really an option given the price. But low and behold during the week I saw a certain NZ online retailer had 2 of these wonderful kits but they were the version that lack the LED's and waterside decals. After a few days thought I've put on on lay-by due to the price.

Now if I ever get around to building it much less finding somewhere to put it once it's built is another matter. I still have my Zvezda Star Destroyer that's languishing part built to finish.... Speaking of Star Destroyers I really need to get my hands on a Revell Venator....

The Revell version is a rebox of the Fine Molds one. I think my wife paid $300 NZ for mine, that kicked off me getting back into modelling. I'm sure she thinks it was the worst $5000 she ever spent

Nice. Did you get it out of Japan? That’s some serious priced plastic isn’t it?

No it was bought locally from a shop in Auckland :) Found it purely by chance. Yep wasn't cheap but worth every cent :)

Now I just have to build it! :D When I don't know....
