Decals on! But I can't find my camera! The decalling was all good. The kiwi colour decals were a challenge but i used a truckload of Klear (Future) which ripped out all the silvering. Will keep hunting for the camera and upload some pics.

Sweet found the camera...so next step will be to add so some extra pieces to the airframe then flat coat. If you are watching this thread Phil, I went for Number 2 squadron :) The panel lines weathered with Windsor and Newton Oils.

Hey Azza, What do you use for flatcoat? I got some Tamiya xf 86 flat clear which is wonderfully flat and smooth, Ive seen a few utube clips of guys that use dullcoat and they scim a quater of the clear liquid of the top once the let it seperate in the bottle.

I use Gunze Acrylic H20 Flat Clear (all my paints are Gunze acrylic). Its the best flat that I have ever used. I only model modern jets which normally have a flat-semi gloss sheen, Gunze seems to do the trick. To thin I use Tamiya acrylic thinner which works out ok. I gonna do my falt coat tomoz morn so will flic a pic when done :)

Awesome build. The finished model looks brilliant. I can't believe it's only 1/72, such good detail. Wonderful.
Cheers, Wally.
