While taking time out from my Sherman, I've been working on a few other kits.

Here is one of them

I'm built this pretty much OOB. I won't be adding the rear seats, as it will be loaded with stowage. Eventually this will find its way into a dio with my Sd.kfz.9

It went together like a typical Tamiya kit, with no filler required (KM-Weld, when pooled on hides little gaps)

Here are progress pics

I haven't added the front doors, or the steering wheel, as I need to make a final decision on a crew for it. I might use a couple of figures from the Sd.Kfz.9 kit.

Man, you put things together quickly... Or was this series of pics a few days work? Looking good so far though and I completely agree with your comment about km weld hiding little gaps. It tends to melt the plastic enough that it flows into the remaining km weld and fills the gap just nicely.

Yes, series of pics of about a weeks work. It could be built in a day, if you had a whole day to yourself to do it :)

Out of interest is this a new Tamiya offering, don't recall seeing it before?
The Quad's I am building at the moment are dated 1974 !

This is the most recent release (rebox 35225 with ICM staff figures added)

Thanks Andrew,
Yes now I recall the original release box art! :)
Though I have to say the Africa Corps box art and figures really do the trick for appeal !

PS. yes I will grad a Mirror Models Quad when it is released... also want the larger Chev/Ford general purpose when it hits the shelves....
