Hello, my name is steve, I am a model train painter and these are my pictures... ;)

a friend of mine from Ashburton did ask me to paint and detail two undecorated Atlas GE Dash 8-40B for his steel mill. it's a freelanced ficitional mill called J K STEEL. today I finished them...

Hi Steve, and welcome to the site; they're a good mob here even if Gaz da gaffa doesn't understand trains...

I presume you go by the pseudonym of Steve4 painting or somesuch on Trademe?

Those are nice looking units, all the more so being N scale. The individual rungs and bars make all teh difference. I much prefer HO myself as it's less finicky about being 0.5mm out.

Did you create the decals yourself or did your client get them made up?

Hope to see a lot more of your work on here.

yes I did design and print them, right down to the small warning labels...

Hope to see a lot more of your work on here.
