*edit* Thread title change.
I was browsing videos for inspiration and came across this awesome layout. Amazing detail and modelling standards. The scale is 1/48 and it uses HO scale track.

Another great layout. This one has an amazing use of forced perspective (there are four different scale rail cars in the scene). :cheer:

Another amazing layout, this time in HO. some of the best foliage and groundcover I've seen. :woohoo: Action starts at about 2.30.

Seen previously, but still good to see. Some very nice stuff there for sure. Hows your layout coming along?
Thanks for sharing Grant.

Update In Stash:
Lots of 1/35 Armor mainly WWII German and a few Modern British/American pieces, 1/32 Aircraft and 1/48 Aircraft. Aircraft chosen to replicate RNZAF and RAAF types through the years. Some RAF & USAF types exist also.

Cheers Dave. My layout is on hiatus until the garage warms up a bit. I'll probably return to it in October. I've been collecting stuff for it though. I hope to get the scenery finished this summer. After that there is lots of detailing and weathering of rolling stock to keep me occupied for a while. :)

What's going to become of it once you're done Grant?

I will sell it, learn from all the mistakes on this one and build something better. I have a long list of things want to do on the next one already. I might change to a bigger scale like On3 and model a smaller area like a mountain pass and town and aim for some realism :)

This layout is mind-blowing. Probably some of the best modeling I've seen in any genre.

Thanks for the reminder. That layout is pretty famous as initiating a good part of the American scene. I wish there were more pictures.
