Looking real nice. Love the Chevy Van - that's what The A-Team used to have and you can't get more '80's than that. :)

Today I weathered the track and added some grass. The hills will have static grass applied, but I really like how the flock looks on the front of the layout so I might leave it like that. This scene is coming together nicely in my opinion. A desolate mountain siding Arizona. Just needs telephone poles, junk, cactus, a coyote... B)

Also, I've always loved the look of track work since I started out in this hobby as a kid, and this kicks ass:

Very nice work Grant.
I have got my hands on a few boxes of HO scale rails and engines for a future project :)

Well it's been the week for 'making America great again'... even if it is in miniature, Donald would be proud of you :P

Very nice work Grant and good to see the bridge held up under a full load. :)

I really like the way this looks Grant, you've nailed it I think. I like the idea of the coyote. Ed. I've just gone back and looked at the video. The whole thing has come together beautifully. NICE!!!

This is now for sale on Trademe. I fully expect it to go for fifty bucks, but I really need to move it on to start the next cooler project. B)

Oh I didn't know you were going to sell it lol. Best of luck, this is worth a hell of a lot more than $50! I hope you get $5000!

I'll probably get more than $50. I was just self-handicapping to reconcile myself with not getting a lot for it. We really need the space in the garage now. The problem is that there is a very small (and maybe shrinking) market of people interested in this kind of thing. In terms of materials this one did not cost a lot. The biggest expense was the hundreds of hours of labour, but I enjoyed that so it doesn't feel like a cost.

It's a real shame you have to sell it Grant. I guess it'd be worth more sold off in parts, but could you bring yourself to pull it apart? I don't think I could if I were in your shoes. I hope you get something much closer to what it's really worth.
