Heraldic shield, experiment 90mm scale was created by shaunfletcher
Trying something really out there.. been many many years since I painted anything complex so I thought a few trial pieces were in order
I made the actual shield by 3D Printing.. paint is acrylic brushwork. The shield is approx 50mm tall. Picture fails somewhat to capture how it looks in person, Ill work on some more pieces to go with it.
If I feel I can get my painting up to a standard Im content with Ill invest in some good resin 90mm kits and off we go!

Out of interest, this picture is pretty close to actual size, on my screen at least.

Nice work indeed, always been interested in Heraldry (helped living in spitting distance from a huge castle for many years).
Here's my shield it's work in progress and has since been bogged so it doesn't look like a Wookies back any more........
