How do you find the fit of the AMT tyres to the rims ?
I find them quite difficult as some tyres do not fit into the rims properly as the moulding of the tyres is not great.

Yes you are correct, the tyres suck :cheer:
I cut some heavy foam rubber strips 10mmx12mmx circ to fit inside the tyres,it pushed the walls of the tyres out so they would bead onto the rims,it inflated them abit, worked ok,

Here's my AMT freightliner. The 3 part cab was an obstacle to assemble but I am pleased with the result.

Getting back to this build, got to get it finished before I start another,
It came to a halt when it came to the exhaust stacks and heat shields, did not like them much,
So I found a way to make them from a speaker grill cover thing, some left over bits from a tamiya kit and an old rc aerial,no glue required.

Loving your work Glenn. That exhaust looks great....real thinking outside the square to get a top result.

As a former truck geek.....can I point out that it is Peterbilt, not "Peterbuilt"......I know the grammar sucks, but it is what it is....sorry, I had mention it!

Thanks Kane, they have some really cool subjects in there model range, but the effort reshaping the parts into a form that can be used sure wore me down.
