Wow.

Might have to get me one... and hide it away till I can build it to a good standard lol

Who do you get to make the Rimu base? Has it got a glass cover?

I hate dust and don't have much dust free space to show off any kits I will one day build lol

Cheers Michael

Yes, get one Michael, they are a whole lot of fun and I'd like to do another :) I get someone to do my bases for me. They have no glass but go in a glass cabinet to keep the dust off. Dust ruins them!

Yip, found that out the hard way.

So have you got a next build in mind yet?

Cheers Michael

Michael, I am doing a F40GTE at the mo. I hope to be starting a Lotus49 soon. I have a few other unnamed projects in the closet and am feeling the itch for another 32nd WW1 plane.. Atleast dreaming is easy! I have a bunch of bike pics I will do a build report on next I think..

Yeah, dust is a pain. It's like the paint never hardens or something and the dust sinks in. I've had models that have been in my cabinet for over 10 years with no problem though. The 2 pack clear I have been playing with lately also seems to have a much harder finish, so I imagine that will be very durable.

What's in your closet? :)

Beautiful work. I am finally getting ready to buy this kit, and I wanted to ask a question. I can't find any Ebbro branded decals - there's a few aftermarket brands but 'Decalpool' looks to be the nicest - these aren't the Ebbro ones you're talking about are they? I did see that Ebbro is now selling the 72E with updated decals but not the C
Thanks for any info.

Thanks Shuan. I think from memory(it's a few years ago now..) that they may have been from Mediamix Hobby in Singapore, or was it HLJ? At the time the kit was new and it would have been all I could get. I'd say there would be plenty of more comprehensive options available now, so take your pic. Hope you have fun building it, It's my favourite of the 72's and the model looks cool when done.
