Nice progress. These kits are so easy to assemble. I have a 1/144 Millennium Falcon ready for painting. It took a couple of days to put together.

Reminds me of legendary Tie Fighter visibility... bandit on your 3... what, where, wtf? BOOM!! :silly: :side: :S :pinch:

Got to find myself some smaller fun projects like this. Too afraid to pick the Starwars scab though.

Great stuff Corran. I remember enjoying the FineMolds Tie Fighter I made, but since it was my 2nd only kit that I made, I took the mask off the glass before I sprayed a matte coat with the expected result to the clear parts. I also tried weathering the panels with a clay wash but got it nowhere as nice as yours so I washed it off. Looking forward to seeing this complete

Cheers Kane. Had a think about how to do the panels..So I did StynlRes Grey Primer then did a series of motteling with a dark blue then XF-19 Grey..Thin coat of Nato Black over the top. Then gave it a dry brush with a semi matt aluminium. Went over the bits that I hit too hard with thinners moistened brush to knock it back a bit. Pretty happy with the result..Still gotta do wash on the centers and cross members..
