Yeah I understand your issues. I've done it myself when I first started using it and didn't think about renaming a folder. I just like that it creates the link code for you so is easy when posting in different places. I also post at Florys and use the images at work. I figured the limit was an anti-spam setting

You post elsewhere!!!! :P
To be honest I don't think there is a limit for links, I'll have a look at the configuration and check.

I don't think any more us needed but weird I could only post 2 images. Limited it even if I didn't have links and just used the IMG tag.
And yes I post elsewhere but love here the most ;)

The paragrafix set is great but better value via eBay.
Check out starship modeller for a good selection of aftermarket parts if the finance department approve the request ;)

I'm so glad that I moved out of Auckland... Live outside of Greymouth, and rent for my place is $200 PW - that's three bedroom, decent size section, warm house, and no neighbours - only 20 mins from town, and 12 mins to my work. And looking at buying it, we're looking at 160k...

So so so glad I moved out of Auckland :)

And and some of the most atmospheric and beautiful coastal scenery anywhere,... from the Air and the land! I find a few days on the west coast changes the batteries like an iPhone plugged into the mains!

I don't even mind the rain.... except when I'm low on fuel and dodging clouds at 500ft.... of course this has never happened.

1/72 while no doubt pleasing my kids who are becoming big Star Wars fans is a bit big for me, so I got the 1/144 finemolds Falcon instead. Will be interesting to see how you get on with this one! I've seen the old MPC kit built a few times to varying degrees of awesome, including one which was awesomely drybrushed on it's topsides, but not painted at all on the undersides as it's owner figured nobody was ever going to look underneath :)

OK, back to the build. No pictures of the actual build as nothing has changed with it. Ive been spending the little time I have researching bits and pieces, and getting things organised for the build. This has included seeing what paints I have, and what I need. One order to Modelair later and I'm now waiting on some of the paints for the characters and cockpit to be delivered.
One thing I have started using and am finding really handy at the moment is Microsoft One Note. I found a PDF of the instructions and it dropped in and laid it out awesomely
File Attachment:

And then using it to ensure I have the right paints and am not double ordering like I have done in the past.
File Attachment:

I'm an electronic person rather than a paper one. Haven't really used Onenote in the past but I'm beginning to find out how good it is. Now I just hope work can give me the Surface 3 I want and i'll have an awesome system.

Nice stuff Grover.
Surfaces are ok, but I'm expecting a 4 later this year and would personally go with the Toshiba T20 but there is no doubt one note is a game changer.
Great idea to use for managing builds, instructions, paints, notes, reference all in one place

Yeah I'll look at the Surface 4, but my budget will only get the Atom powered Surface 3. I think it will be fine for how I will use it and I like the fact it will charge from a micro USB cable, meaning I can charge it in the car. Also looking at the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 when it gets released soon. Had the Tab S and it was awesome, but gave it to one of the young girls I mentored for her uni studies.

Work has been so busy I haven't had a lot of time in the cave working on this. I did get a bit of time today while taking breaks from the PC. I started with taking the cockpit parts that had been primed and spraying on some Semi-gloss black. Instructions say matte, but Im decalling so will use the semigloss and some klear and then a matte coat over the top
File Attachment:

These are the decals for the cockpit. My plan is to have just Chewie and Han in the pit

Talking of which

I don't know if I should put in the glass or use the open framed parts. Open framed would be easier as no masking but it just doesnt feel right I think.

One of the reasons, well the main one I want to get this done are the tiny control levers which if I sneeze at the wrong time I will lose forever, so I want to get the decals on and them attached
File Attachment:

Seats also got a coat of Middlestone tan and work has begun on painting up Han Solo

Looking good mate :)

I think you've said before, but where did you get the future clear from? I tried looking for it in my local supermarkets and mitre 10, but couldn't find anything like it...

Cheers mate. Actually I was just telling PJ that I bought a bunch from the states when I was there earlier this year and bought it back for a bunch of us here. If I get across later I can grab some more. I don't know if you can buy on ebay but it might be an issue bringing it in.

Search the forum. Some have been using a polish from mitre 10 I think. One option, although expensive but really good is Alclad Aqua Klear Kote. It really is top stuff but $20 bucks a bottle can sting.

Besides the tiny control levers are you going to put in the lucky dice hanging from the cockpit ceiling? ;)
