This is going to be a good build. It doesn't look too complex but there are around 900 parts so it will require some planning and a lot of prep, but the painting shouldn't be too hard. It's going to be completely OOB. I may get brave with some scratch building, but I doubt it. I will be looking at as many build threads as I can though to get ideas and navigate pitfalls.
Mine looks at me from the stash all the time, I think I'll wait till I get a lighting and Pe set.
I'll be watching this with much interest

Kane, this is just one of those builds where you go all out. There is no decision to be made, get the goodies and make this sing. Not easy to get, but a great kit to have. I confess I thought it was bigger. My only suggestion is don't rush it, but stop and build up more skills until you can finish it just right. The BergePanther was done that way, and it still isn't completely finished. You are very lucky to have such a wife!!
Thanks Bishop. Im actually thinking, as this build is more for the wife because she got it for me, and that she has mentioned a couple of times that she hoped it would be done before my next birthday, that I will do this OOB but look for another kit I can go all out on. Still have big decisions like do I do it in flight or gear down.
Be cool to see it in a landed configuration (Like a Rebel base etc) as you could use it as the main focus for a large diorama and would be a great excuse to pick up more Star Wars themed goodies to go with it etc

I'm attaching from photobucket. It's just easier, especially when posting from my phone which I do often. Makes it easy when I post elsewhere too as I just copy paste. I thought it may be links rather than images but I tried posting just the images without the links but that didn't work either
Yeah but photobucket is my nemesis, I hate photo sharing sites it's often not the site but the provider of the image stores. As you can see above the attaching the images to the forum works well and it's the preferred method because it doesn't leave huge great holes in my forums when you decide to change image hosting providers!!

Yeah I understand your issues. I've done it myself when I first started using it and didn't think about renaming a folder. I just like that it creates the link code for you so is easy when posting in different places. I also post at Florys and use the images at work. I figured the limit was an anti-spam setting
