Revell 1/144 NASA Space shuttle was created by Grant
I was going to build the 1/24 Hurricane, but this seemed like a fun potentially quick option. Big box and a lot of plastic, but the kit itself doesn't seem too complicated. Also, check out my tidy work bench.

Revell actually produce some really nice kits (along with the rubbish). And they are cheap. :P

Her'e my meager progress. Note the homemade sanding sticks ready to be put to work.

"I thought that's what the english translation of Revell was" (I broke the quote tool trying to just quote Grover, and couldn't work out how to fix it...)

Mostly I agree with you but the 1/32 Ju-88 by Revell is one of my favourite kits! Not that it couldn't be improved with some PE here and there but a big step beyond what tends to come to mind when someone mentions Revell - if you see it going for a good price I recommend grabbing it.

Nice looking kit. I remember when I was younger and making the little academy space shuttle, that looks like way more fun.
Can't wait to see more :)

Kit is a bit rubbish to be honest. I spent too much on it anyway. :pinch: Here' where I'm at:

What a very funny thread. Well it looks okay even if its rubbish. I do like Grover's translation of Revell.... my turn to lol at the monitor. And yes, more clean bench envy.

I remember in the 80's my friends dad started one of those. He never finished it. . .

Funny how the translation changes when you add "Germany" to the end of Revell. I'd love to do a shuttle though, especially if it had moving parts

I thought I would try and finish this before the BoB build. I masked and painted the main colours. This is basically just blocking out the colours for the decals to add lots of he detail such as leading edges, tiles, windows etc.
