Lovely work on those figures too. The sheepskin jacket looks real. Perfect colour. Hey, how many torpedoes did these carry. I see the opening for the one currently heading aft of the boat, was it just a once off affair or were there more below that could be brought up to the deck?

Canvas dodgers done ( primed with gloss primer for a smooth finish)

I used Evergreen sheet 0,13mm.
Very pleased with the result, nice and tight as it should be .

Only thing to do ......lightly sand them and spray some Schnellboot white on it, and attach it to the railing.
Glad this part is done.

That’s great. The light sanding gives the canvas texture. Super build mate.

The kits dinghy was to simple,so i had to add some details ,
Still in the pre shading colors .......will be toned down after a couple of washes.

The lid for the bow 20mm flak position, also added my own new whatchamacallit hooks.

Life Raft,

The basic shape made from Evergreen plastic and i used two part putty to make the rounded sides.

Need 4 (wil make resin copies)

Still needs eyelets and the rope on the side and straps these will be added after casting.

Forget the previous raft.
Yesterday i found German drawing of one …..and it has more detail and better looking.

I went so fast that i did not take any pics of the built (was done the same way as the other one)

This is just a test raft

The nylon rope starts to unwind when i pull it thru the loops.
I have to get real cotton yarn, like the wooden ship/boat builders use

Will make another type,
Already ordered the materials i need for this , but that's for next week.

Doing some testing how to make the water ,
This is the concept ......it already has speed

Bow wave will be solid of course.
will use Vallejo water effects for the water ,waves and foam ect.
Will use this video as a how to do it ,but only bigger and wilder.

Would like to do also some missed artillery and machine gun impacts on the water ( Not sure yet how to do it )
