USS Gambier Bay - Hasegawa 1/350 was created by Gary
Here's the kit, had it in the stash for a few years now at least it seems that way.



Here's the obligatory upgrade kits



Cracking on, here's the 5" gun and the back of the ship with some railings.

I'd have trouble focusing in it let alone building it! I find 1/35th challenging at times.....

And that's the big gun, it's the 5" or 127mm, I've got to make the 40mm and 20mm guns yet :ohmy:

Nah, was waiting for some new barrels for the 20 and 40mm guns, they turned up at the weekend but I've been building a broom broom

Hey guys,
Gary had this along at our club night and all I can say is that these photos just don't do his work justice. I mean you know it's small but when it is on the end of your finger.... just blowes your mind!

That being said, it's a bit of a let-down that the barrel is not rifled. :whistle:
