They said that about the A-10. I like a bit of ugly too.

Great job on the PE B)

But most of the Pe.......... the hatches and flat thingies could have been molded on the kit.

Good luck. PE looks pretty good but then again I've never used or applied it.

Ok..Sorry about the lack of updates!! Life and crap keeps getting in the way! I have been plodding along when I can tho..I mustve knocked at least half the P.E parts off and put em back on again..Maartens words are even more relevant now! I thought with being an angular vessel that I would play with different shades of Primer on different parts..combination of Vallejo Grey and Vallejo Black....Flightdeck is masked up ready for paint... Paint...that's the next thing...this is all very experimental for me! So I am going to try preshading of a sort( Italeri White neat...High pressure) and see how it goes..there will also have to be a degree of post shading/lightening too I think....... Hell..its all guess work to me!! Anyways... that's where we are at....

It looks a bit of a mess at the moment!

Trying a wee test fit in the base.

Hoping to get a start on the sea this weekend if I can...I seem to be struggling to get to the bench at the moment....

Sorry for the lack of updates...I have been plodding along..Its not that im not enjoying it just other things getting in the road..any way...lots of masking as I decided to paint all the deck markings...reasonably happy with the result so far...finding it frustrating that I am for ever banging the PE ladders out of shape..and I still have all the PE railings to do!! Heres a few pics of where I am at...

I have also been working on the seascape and will get some pics up when Ive got some colour on it.

Sorry bout the lack of updates...but I have been plodding along...old injury giving me some crap lately ...stole my motivation a wee bit. Decals on...and things are getting dirty!

Time to tackle the PE guard rails next....fit the superstructure and helo's ..dunno about rigging...not a lot of detailed pics out there and nothing in the instructions..Oh...and aerials...always forget those!!..after that she will be ready to fit into the base...which i'm still playing with..
