Hi All,

I took her along to our club meeting in March - Mike took some pictures (thanks Mike!) and here you go. It looks a bit darker than she is due to the poor light.

My wife calls me a curmudgeon. I haven't looked it up but I assume it means "fun loving and free spirited" or some such twaddle. I inform and perform over at www.militarymodels.co.nz and stick my oar in here as well. My passion is WWII 1/35 armour but I'm coming around to liking the odd 1/32 thing...

Yes there is Crew - and I will get around to painting them at some stage - they are just a tad small and I cant decide what colour their eyes should be! Also need to get some serious magnification going on too. They are made of rubber and not styrene so the undercoat will probably fill in any detail. But it will be worth doing it as it gives an idea of scale.

I read a build on these not so long ago where a guy ditched the Trumpeter figures in favour of a bunch of Prieser ones as he said they were better moulded and you got way more poses.

Wow... Show stopper Steve!! :)

Have you figured out what brand of cigarettes your crew will be smoking? How many with glasses - although I suspect that's going to be easy after the eye colour thing...

I could not resist picking this kit up during a sale while the exchange rate was good, landed for just over $100
Could not belive the size of the box, amazing detial right through, no idea when im gonna build it, or how im gonna spray and store it but just could not pass it up and builds like this make me wanna crack it open but also make me realise it will never look that good.

Beautiful build on this! I'd love to try a water dio like this someday. I've been to Pearl Harbor, at the memorial, which really leaves an impact on you...especially the black tears still surfacing.
