Thanks.. working over the whole thing about another 10 times before I will be happy with the wear heh

I've also been using some oils to adjust the Colours (the green needed more green) and add variation, and a number of other bits. lots of detail items still to paint and mess with. adding and also hand painting some of the insignia as seems to have been done in reality.

I also corrected the part I missed on the back where the hulls join (bloody dragon instructions) which now looks less stupid

Looking good :woohoo:

Open top SPGs are like two kits in one. You have all the interior to detail, then there is the exterior

It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.

Great. Want to see this finished. One of these in 1:16 would be awesome. This almost looks that scale with all the detail you’re added

These are dead tracks so make sure they have sag between the return rollers. Sensational looking tracks!!

Yeah I allowed a bit, its not showing much but I know it will as they always settle (after a few months may even need to remove a link based on my tiger). I think I've nailed what it looks like in reference pics, they seem to have tended to be just a very slight sag..

Touch more touching up. Still not proper photos (those can wait for the crew and accessories etc but at least the colour is about right on these.

I like they way they are looking at something rather than just in a generic pose.

Thanks, I'm not sure what they are looking at over there, I keep finding myself following their eyes which is a bit sad ;)

The mini-art set could have almost been made for this kits, just a little fiddling needed to get them to fit nicely.

This is looking good. I like the work you did on the radio. It sets the cab off nicely. Given you're putting figures in the model will you be making a vignette base to set it all off?

Thanks

Yes I will certainly be doing a base. Im thinking of a classic Italian mountain road, as these were involved in the defense against the Allied invasion.

Basic painting of the crew. Not my finest figure work but I think it will do.

More equipment/stowage etc to go yet

Thanks, various mixtures of AK acrylics. I like to mix it up a little with uniform colours, partly because there was much variation but mostly because i like how it looks!
