Really nicely done. Great weathering on the tracks. The IR gear looks good. For future reference, it would have a dedicated storage bin that replaces the right hand bin on the hull rear plate. Just a point for future builds. Doesn't take away from this at all.

Thanks Guys,Its nice to finish a kit thats been kicking around for so long.
The wheels put me off building it, but it turned out to be an easy task to get them done.
Plan A was to paint it in primer red oxide colour as if it did not get a paint job before battle,But that would have just been another mono colour paint scheme,so I went fot the tri colour camo, masked it up using blue tack(get some practice for aircraft camo)
I am working through my stash building models that have been kicking around for awhile and finishing off kits that have been started then put back in the box.

As has been pointed out if you are fiitting an IR unit to a Panther, even the G version the stowage box will need to be fitted on the rear right of the hull. A number of Panthers destroyed by Soviet forces in the last weeks of the war in Germany have this box fitted but no IR units.

The first Panther knocked out in the wasteful Lake Balaton offensive.

Thanks for the info Mark and Tony, does the battery go in this box?
The IR kit came with a battery and no information where it would go.
What would go in the standard stowage boxes at the back of panthers?

Perfect shots. No it runs from inside the tank, the box is for stowage of the unit etc. it's ver easy to make. You simply cut the top section of the stand box off, add a new roof and a new hatch that swings open like a door. I'll take some shots and start another thread so we can keep enjoying this build in peace.
