Something I've building the last couple of weeks as an infill while I work myself up to finish the Do-217 I've still got a couple of bits I want to add, mainly a Bren Gun and some stowage (not over the engine covers :P ).
Photos were taken with my phone but I'm still fairly happy with the quality (should be good as the new phone has a 16mp camera on it).
I'm begining to thing that all my AFVs are starting to look the same............. I might have to find something different to build in the stash, maybe something Sci-Fi as I got a fair amount to choose from.
Shout out if I've missed anything, it'll be too late if you don't ;)

Mate I wish I could paint like you. Nailed it all round. Nice colour, chipping, decals and all.

Looks good to me G1, my only suggestion is to add some silver on the road wheels where the track guide teeth rub against the metal portion of the wheels B)

Thanks folks for the nice comments.
Thankfully both of those are on the list of things to add.
I used Vallejo Middle Stone and just lightened it with white for the highlighting.

Really like the whole thing, Gaz, but the burnished exhaust is very 'right' if you know what I mean. With the details added, it'll look just perfect.

Your Valentine really looks the part, i.e. properly desert bleached and weathered. A good choice for a short build too being one colour overall. :)

Thanks again guys, always nice to get positive feedback :D
Weirdly enough I'm just as pleased with how well the camera phone photos turned out, I didn't have to brighten them or adjust the contrast etc. They were taken on a piece of black A4 card perched on top of my model bench (with all the tools and detritus underneath). The only editing I had to do was to crop them and reduce the size to 1024 x 768.

Lovely work on the painted parts and heat/rust metal, just the right colour and amount of wear.

Only one small thing, the tools seem a bit bright and solid colour compared to what they are sitting on? If you know what I mean?

Good point they probably need a bit of dusting down.
